Missouri Wine Month is Here!

Harvest has begun in the vineyards of Missouri wine country, and it is time to celebrate the bounty of the Missouri wine industry! Throughout the month of September, Seven Springs Winery as well as the 127 other Missouri wineries and the Missouri Wine and Grape Board invite you to celebrate the fruits of our Labor!

Missouri Wine History 


Missouri has a rich history of wine making, dating back to the early 1800s. Prohibition slowed the industry to a near halt, but in 2013 there were 1,700 bearing acres of grapes in the state. The annual economic impact of wine and grapes on the Missouri economy is $1.6 billion, and more than 14,000 jobs were generated from wine production based on research reported by Stonebridge Research in 2010.

Lake of the Ozarks Wine 


Seven Springs Winery is part of the newly formed Lake of the Ozarks wine trail, one of the 10 wine trails in Missouri.  The Lake of the Ozarks winery sits atop 160 acres of rolling Missouri foothills between Camdenton and Osage Beach. The winery is less than a 10 minute drive from either location. The covered porch and patio area are ideal for enjoying a glass of wine and admiring the beautiful views.  Our full service facility is perfect for outdoor weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, corporate events and parties!

Check out all the Wine Trials Missouri has to Offer!

The Show Me State offers delicious, quality wines, charming landscapes, beautiful hills and valleys with some friendly Midwestern hospitality. Missouri is now the eighth-largest wine producing state, with nine wine trails, 393 vineyards and more than 1,600 acres of wine grapes. Although we believe the Lake of the Ozarks is home to the best wineries in Missouri, we wanted to share with you these Missouri Wine Trails.  Each and every one of Missouri's nine wine trails offers visitors the experience of a lifetime!

Augusta Wine Country Trail


When traveling on scenic highway 94 between Defiance and Augusta, you will find nine family-owned wineries. This region is the first designated American Viticultural Area in the United States. Great Northwest Wine Trail

Hermann Wine Trail


Covering twenty beautiful miles between New Haven and Hermann, the Hermann Wine Trail features seven family-owned wineries. Kansas City Wine Trail


Wine enthusiasts in the Kansas City area need not travel far to experience delicious Missouri wines. Mississippi River Hills Wine Trail

Missouri River Wine Trail

Missouri Weinstrasse


Your memories will last forever when you cruise along Highway 94 on the Missouri Weinstrasse Wine Trail.  As you travel the picturesque Missouri Weinstrasse, to the south you will be awed by a sweeping vista of the Missouri River Valley. To the north, Osage Ridge nestles cozy farmsteads on its tree-covered slopes. Ozark Mountain Wine Trail

Route Du Vin
