Check out all the Wine Trials Missouri has to Offer!

The Show Me State offers delicious, quality wines, charming landscapes, beautiful hills and valleys with some friendly Midwestern hospitality. Missouri is now the eighth-largest wine producing state, with nine wine trails, 393 vineyards and more than 1,600 acres of wine grapes. Although we believe the Lake of the Ozarks is home to the best wineries in Missouri, we wanted to share with you these Missouri Wine Trails.  Each and every one of Missouri's nine wine trails offers visitors the experience of a lifetime!

Augusta Wine Country Trail

When traveling on scenic highway 94 between Defiance and Augusta, you will find nine family-owned wineries. This region is the first designated American Viticultural Area in the United States. Here you will discover rolling wooded hills, rich farmland and small towns that have managed to preserve their German heritage.  You can either drive the scenic tour yourself or take the convenient shuttle to all the wineries on the trail.  For more information visit:   

Great Northwest Wine Trail

Beautiful countryside, wine and Midwestern hospitality is exactly what visitors will find on the Great Northwest Missouri Wine Trail.  Just North of Kansas City, eight wineries work together to bring wine tasting tourists to their region. For more information visit:

Hermann Wine Trail

Covering twenty beautiful miles between New Haven and Hermann, the Hermann Wine Trail features seven family-owned wineries. Here you will discover great wine, gorgeous vistas, arched underground cellars and friendly people.  You can drive yourself through the trail or hop aboard the convenient trolley.  This wine trail has special season events that you should definitely check out: Chocolate Wine Trial, Wild Card Wine Trail, berries and BBQ Wine Trail, Holiday Fare Wine Trail, and Say Cheese Wine Trail!  For more information visit:

Kansas City Wine Trail

Wine enthusiasts in the Kansas City area need not travel far to experience delicious Missouri wines. Kansas City and its surrounding areas boast several wineries surrounded by lush and beautiful vineyards.  The Kansas City Wine Trail consists of nine wineries spanning from Kansas City to Waverly.  For more information visit:

Mississippi River Hills Wine Trail

Winding through the swelling hills of the state's most attractive countryside.  Along the trail are five wineries each with its on uniqueness.  You will find something for everyone from dry to sweet and fruity wines! For more information visit:

Missouri River Wine Trail

The Missouri River Wine Trail is an experience like none other, where the river runs, grapes grow and wine flows!  Start at any of the seven wineries on the trail and pick up a souvenir wine glass.  Then make your way through the other six with your glass in hand.  Drop off your ticket at your last stop to be entered into a drawing for a gift basket!  For more more information vist:

Missouri Weinstrasse

Your memories will last forever when you cruise along Highway 94 on the Missouri Weinstrasse Wine Trail.  As you travel the picturesque Missouri Weinstrasse, to the south you will be awed by a sweeping vista of the Missouri River Valley. To the north, Osage Ridge nestles cozy farmsteads on its tree-covered slopes. Ozark Mountain Wine Trail

Route Du Vin

Southern Missouri is one of the most beautiful scenic regions of the Midwest with rolling hills, green grasses and in the Fall, spectacular colors paint the landscape.  The Route Du Vin wineries each have their own special view!  The trail has 6 distinctive atmospheres, from a natural cave to quiet and elegant, to comfortable and relaxed to fast paces and energetic!  Many of the Route Du Vin wineries have received metals from national competitions.  So come taste the wines and hear from the passionate wine makers themselves!  For more information visit:
