Blues, Bays and BBQ this Weekend!

Join us for a full day of competition and fun for the whole family! Our Lake of the Ozarks winery opens at 11 AM and the festivities begin at Noon. For just $10 you can participate in all the fun while helping out a wonderful local charity. Here's what you can expect this Saturday, September 27, at Seven Springs Winery during our Blues, Bays and BBQ event!

Blues

Kicking off the event is our Blues Competition! The bands will start at 1 PM. The battle of the bands will feature:

James Clay and the Creekers
Blue Collar Kings
Doghouse Daddy's
Sax on the Beach

Bays

BBQ

Come prepared to taste some delicious BBQ and then vote for your favorite! BBQ starts serving at 2 PM with the judging to take place at 4 PM. The Amateur BBQ Competition features the following categories:

Pork Ribs
Pulled Pork
Beef Brisket

Seven Springs Winery: The Perfect Place for a Wedding!

Now is the time to get excited about planning your wedding at the Lake of the Ozarks! One of the first decisions you'll need to make is the wedding venue. Seven Springs Winery is the perfect place for a beautiful indoor or outdoor wedding! Our Lake of the Ozarks winery location is not only beautiful, but also convenient. Seven Springs Winery and Vineyards sits upon 160 breathtaking acres making a wonderful place for your celebration. The magnificent covered porch and a large patio area are ideal for enjoying a glass of wine and admiring the beautiful view!

Weddings at Seven Springs Winery

Seven Springs Winery provides an event coordinator who works with you closely in order to ensure your needs are met. Our facility holds up to 200 people inside and another 125 outside in our patio area. At night, the patio area lights up providing a remarkable, intimate atmosphere for your special occassion. Our executive chef prepares a distinctive and delicious banquet menu with items ranging from hors d’ oeuvres to gourmet styled meals. These meals can be customized to fit one’s dietary, cultural or personal preferences as needed.

Why Choose Seven Springs Winery?

Seven Springs Winery is a full service wedding venue at the Lake of the Ozarks. We will provide an event coordinator and can supply or recommend all of the extras you need for your wedding to be a success. You and up to six people can taste your menu choices and view your presentation to ensure the best meal for your wedding. We do not require a cleaning deposit; we provide a cleaning service for you. We also want you and your wedding party to be safe on your wedding night, which is why we include our shuttle service for Saturday and Sunday weddings for the bridal party to be escorted to your hotel for no additional cost. Lastly, many of the Lake’s finest vendors offer discounts to Seven Spring’s couples simply for getting married with us.

Wedding Services Provided

Event coordinator to help you plan your special day; including referrals for everything from florist to local hotels and transportation.
You and up to six people can taste your menu choices and view your presentation to ensure the best meal for your wedding.
Banquet chairs and tables complete with china, glassware, and silverware. (Classic white or black linens are available for rental.)
Sound system for speeches, background music, and also a flat screen television for showing pictures on DVDs during your cocktail reception.
Complete setup and cleanup of tables and chairs by our event staff.
Our event coordinator will be present on your day to ensure everything runs according to your wishes...it is your special day after all!

Seven SpringsWinery schedules events everyday of the week. We also offer flexible setup times on the day of your event. To reserve a date, a $500.00 non-refundable deposit is required at booking date for the reception hall. There is a non-refundable 50% payment on catering 30 days prior to your event. Stop by Seven Springs Winery During Lake Bikefest 2014!

Lake Bikefest 2014 is just two days away and your favorite winery at the Lake of the Ozarks is one of the stops on the Passport Ride! Be sure to stop by and see us for a glass of wine and some live music this weekend. Located atop 160 acres of rolling Missouri foothills, Seven Springs Winery is the perfect place for a ride with a spectacular view!

Lake Bikefest Passport Run

The grand prize for this year's Passport Run is a brand new 2013 Harley-Davidson FLD Switchback! To participate and be entered into the drawing for this motorcycle, you must complete a passport book. You'll need to register with your name, address, email, date of birth and phone number on the return page of the passport. A $20 entry donation is optional.

You will receive one stamp at each of the participating passport stop locations. All passport stops must be stamped in order for the passport to be considered complete and approved for the motorcycle drawing. Here's the list of all the participating locations:

Once your passport is completed, you will need to turn it in at the official passport booth which is located at the Lake of the Ozarks Harley-Davidson. Passports must be turned in no later than 11 AM on Sunday, September 14. Completed passports will be accepted the following hours:

Thurs, Sept 11 from Noon - 6 PM
Fri, Sept 12 from 8 AM - 8 PM
Sat, Sept 13 from 8 AM - 8 PM
Sun, Sept 14 from 8 AM - 11 AM

Missouri Wine Month is Here!

Harvest has begun in the vineyards of Missouri wine country, and it is time to celebrate the bounty of the Missouri wine industry! Throughout the month of September, Seven Springs Winery as well as the 127 other Missouri wineries and the Missouri Wine and Grape Board invite you to celebrate the fruits of our Labor!

Missouri Wine History

Missouri has a rich history of wine making, dating back to the early 1800s. Prohibition slowed the industry to a near halt, but in 2013 there were 1,700 bearing acres of grapes in the state. The annual economic impact of wine and grapes on the Missouri economy is $1.6 billion, and more than 14,000 jobs were generated from wine production based on research reported by Stonebridge Research in 2010.

The Lake of the Ozarks winery sits atop 160 acres of rolling Missouri foothills between Camdenton and Osage Beach. The winery is less than a 10 minute drive from either location.
