Getting Wicked With Wine

It's going to be a wicked time at the winery when you come out for the Wicked Wine Run! You can race through the vineyards and trails of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in Linn Creek, MO. Our newly designed trails are through fields and woodland hills. They provide both a challenging and surreal adventure in the heart of Missouri for any runner or wino. Of course, the best is yet to come when you get to enjoy the WICKED POST RACE PARTY! Keep reading to learn more about this incredible Lake of the Ozarks event and how you can participate.


The Race Details

Race through the vineyards and trails of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks in Linn Creek, MO. The newly designed trials are through fields and woodland hills providing a challenging and remarkably surreal adventure in the heart of Missouri. Good stable trail running shoes are a standard as the course can be a challenging in some areas.The start time for the 5K Wicked Run begins at 5:00 pm and the 1K Wicked Tasting Walk begins at 6:30 pm. 5K runners must complete the course in 1 hour. Runners who participate in BOTH the 5K Fun Run and the 1K Walk must make the start time of the 1K. No exceptions. Waves of runners will be released on the course with 5-minute intervals in between waves. Runners and ALL attendees must be 21 or older to participate.

What to Wear

Raid Grandma’s closet and your nearest party store because we want you to create the most insane costumes. We’ve got some great prizes if your get up bests them all!

Awards

Top finishers for the 5K win premium Wicked Wine Swag, prizes and bragging rights to boot. This untimed wine-fueled fun run is untimed but the top three male finishers and top three female to cross the finish line win Wicked Wine Run awards.

After Party

If you can’t make it, you can send a friend– just make sure you signed your online waiver, give him/her a copy of your ID and your confirmation email. Race day packet pick up is available, but let’s face it– waiting in line for ages just plain sucks when all you want to do is run and get wicked.

The Wicked Wine Run at the Lake of the Ozarks!

Whether you're a runner, or you're only a runner when there is wine at the finish line - it's time to suit up for the Wicked Wine Run! This is the second time we've held this event at Seven Springs Winery, and it is a BLAST. Last year we had an amazing turnout, and we're looking forward to even more this year. Not only will it be a fun evening of running and walking, but there is a LIVE concert back at the best winery at the Lake of the Ozarks along with many contests to win, and of course, WINE! Here are some details if you are registered for this great event.

Registration

There is still time to register for this event, but you need to hurry! Registration is required, and we don't want you to miss out. Visit the Wicked Wine Run website at http://wickedwinerun.com/locations/missouri-lakeoftheozarks/

Must Have Information

There are a few things you need to know about this event as you prepare for it, from the start times to the way you'll pick up your packet for the race - we don't want you to miss anything! This event is always SO much fun - it's time to get ready because you'll be "adulting" this weekend.

Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick up is FRIDAY, May 12th, 2017!

PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP - Tan Tar A Resort will be hosting pre-race packet pick up on Friday, May 12th, 2017 11 am to 8 pm at 494 Tan Tar A Drive, Osage Beach, MO 65065. To pick up your packet bring a printed or digital copy of your confirmation email with the QR code on it. If you can't make it, you can send a friend -- just make sure you signed your online waiver (you signed this waiver when you Registered) give him/her a copy of your ID and your confirmation email.

Can't find your confirmation email? Simply search your inbox for "Registration confirmation for Wicked Wine Run". Additional race swag, merchandise, and event parking passes (General $10) are conveniently available during packet pick up.

Race day packet pick up is available, but let's face it - waiting in line for ages just plain sucks when all you want to do is run and get wicked, and have wine *wink.*

It's time to get WICKED and crazy! Raid your Grandma's closet, run to the nearest party store, and find the craziest, most insane costumes you've ever created! We've got some amazing prizes in store if your style beats the rest.

Upcoming Events at Seven Springs Winery

At Seven Springs Winery, we are already getting the calendar filled with exciting events! Summer may not be here yet, but that's not stopping us from getting out and enjoying the weather and a little wine. Mark your calendars, because we have a lot of exciting things happening, from the Silver cup Chef Challenge to the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. Here's an overview of these fun events at the Lake of the Ozarks:


8th Annual Silver Cup Chef's Challenge - March 4th

This event is sponsored by Seven Springs Winery, Bed & Biscuit Pet Resort and Spa, and the proceeds benefit the Tri-County YMCA of the Ozarks. We would love for you to join us in our Lake of the Ozarks banquet hall on Saturday, March 4th to taste the best of the Midwest, Lake style! We will be featuring four amazing restaurants at the Lake of the Ozarks in our new one day format. The doors open at 11 am, and the cost is $45 per person. The first tasting begins at 2 pm and is only limited to 100 people. The judging will begin at 6 pm. Call 573-317-0100 to learn more.

4th Annual Rotary Beer Dinner - March 18th

This event is always a favorite, and we look forward to giving you more information soon! Don't forget to mark your calendars for March 18th so you won't miss it.

Comedy's Best Kept Secret Tour - March 24th

Come see what happens when three Nationally touring Comedians embark on a two-month road trip and perform on 50 shows in 50 days all to raise money for the Humane Society. Dan Frigolette @danfrigolette (Boardwalk Empire, Totally Biased, Artie Lange Show) Andrew Frank (Trial By Laughter) and a few special guests in each city are Comedy's Best Kept Secret -- amazingly talented comedians who haven't made it into the limelight...yet.

Proven comedians nationally and throughout the New York and Los Angeles comedy circuits, and now going coast to coast to keep Comedy's Best Kept Secret.

Spring Doe Camp - April 1

Tequila 1.5 - April 8th

Did you know that tequila can be used in the creation of faux diamonds? Unfortunately, you can't use them for your next piece of jewelry, but they can be used in the computer industry! If you want to learn all you've ever wanted to know about tequila, this event is for you! Join us on Saturday, April 8th for a really good time.

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater - April 22nd

There is more information coming soon, but we'll entertain you with hysterical comedy, spooky suspense, interactive dinner. We'll release more info as the time gets closer, but you won't want to miss this.

Tequila 2.0 - May 6th

If you didn't learn everything you needed to know about tequila the first time - come to Tequila 2.0! We'll have more information for you in the next coming weeks about this tasty event.


Wicked Wine Run - May 13th

If you want to come out to Seven Springs for a fun time, we have several events coming up that you can join us for. From romantic dinners with your special someone to running in the name of wine!


Valentine's Dinner

Imagine a delicious meal, good wine, and a night spent with the person you love. Come enjoy Valentine's Day at the Lake of the Ozarks with the Seven Springs Winery team. We have an amazing meal planned and you won't want to miss it. Better yet, we have TWO days for you to pick from!

Date: February 11th and February 14th
Time: Reservations from 5 PM to 8 PM
Price: $99.00 per couple

Silver Cup Competition

Race Start Times

The start time for the 5K Wicked Run begins at 5:00 pm and the 1K Wicked Tasting Walk begins at 6:30 pm. 5K runners must complete the course in 1 hour. Runners who participate in BOTH the 5K Fun Run and the 1K Walk must make the start time of the 1K. No exceptions. Waves of runners will be released on the course with 5 minute intervals in between waves.

What To Expect on Our Trails

5 K Trails have been made through our 160 acres that cross over many creeks and springs. You can catch a view of the cave located on our property and run past the original Linn Creek one room school house! Be ready to cross the finish line viewing our newly finished waterfall and fountain, while you get to enjoy a glass of wine, of course.

Our winery just got better with the beautiful trails that now cover our property. Not only can you enjoy the best wine at the Lake of the Ozarks, you can now enjoy this fun event. There are over 3000 people expected to attend, and it's going to be an amazing time. Grab the craziest clothes you have and come out for a fun event all about Missouri wine, running and a good time.
