Camdenton Rotary Beer Dinner at Seven Springs Winery!

Mother's Brewing Company of Springfield and Seven Springs Winery present the Camdenton Rotary Beer Dinner this weekend! Join us at the best winery at the Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday, March 22nd for a spectacular event. The doors open at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served at 6 pm. Salad: Irish Flag Salad paired with Spring Batch
Entree: Dark Stout & Honey Glazed Pork Loin, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Irish Lemon Cauliflower & Broccoli paired with Roggenbier/Rye Lager
Dessert: Chocolate Beer Cupcakes with Whiskey Filling and Irish Cream Icing paired with Imperial Three Blind Mice

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at Seven Springs Winery!

Join us for this Irish Holiday!

St. Patrick's Day is a celebration of Irish culture. In America, each year we dress up in green to celebrate with parades, music and songs, Irish food and drink, and activities for kids such as crafts, coloring and games. Many people think whiskey and beer when they think about St. Patrick's Day and Ireland, but did you know that Ireland also makes wine?

Although in limited quantities, some wines are actually grown and produced in Ireland and Ireland is officially listed as a wine producing country. Despite the unlikely climate, there are a handful of producers growing grapes and making wine in the southern half of the country, particularly in County Cork and County Clare. The wines are largely sold to a local consumer base. The Irish tend to produce white wines, but also make a few reds.

One of the first wineries is at the site of Bunratty Castle. In 1979, the coach houses there were restored and it is in one of those houses that Bunratty Mead is made. Mead is a honey wine that can be made in many different styles. Among other wineries in Southern Ireland, you will find Blackwater Valley Vineyard and Longueville House Vineyard in Mallow, West Waterford Vineyard in Cappoquin and the Thomas Walk Vineyard in Kinsale. Lusk, North County Dublin also produces a wine called "Lusca."

Whiskey is the beverage more readily associated with Ireland. It's still debated whether Ireland or Scotland was the first to produce a spirit distilled from malted barley. However, there is a strong movement towards a general agreement that whisky was introduced by the Irish to the Scottish, not vice versa. The lack of an answer to this question is reflected in the two spellings for what is essentially the same beverage: whisky known by the Scottish, Japanese and Canadians versus whiskey known by the Irish and Americans.

Who will be named BEST CHEF at the Lake?

Finals of the Silver Cup Chef's Challenge this Weekend!

The preliminary rounds of the Silver Cups Chef's Challenge have come to a close. The final round is here! Congratulations to Camden on the Lake, Fired Up! Bar-B-Que, Jake Culpeeper's and Ruthie D.'s for making it this far.

These four finalists will be competing for the title of Best Chef at the Lake! Join us at Seven Springs Winery as these chef's battle it out with our Surf & Turf challenge!

This final event will be held this Saturday, March 1st at our winery at Lake of the Ozarks. The doors open at 11 AM, with the first tasting at 2 PM followed by judging at 4 PM. Seating is limited, so if you haven't reserved your tickets yet, be sure to call 573-317-0100 today!

Tickets are $35 per person for this final round. Proceeds from the tickets go to benefit the Tri-County YMCA, so come out and support not only our local restaurants, but also the community. Thank you to everyone who has helped make this event a success and we hope to see you all at the finals this weekend!

The Lake of the Ozarks Bridal Show 2014 is just a few short days away! This Sunday, vendors from all over the area, including Seven Springs Winery, will be set up to provide you with information to make your wedding planning a little less stressful. Join us at The Lodge of Four Seasons for a live fashion show, prizes and giveaways, a groom's cave and more! And one lucky couple will WIN a bachelor & bachelorette party package at the Lake prior to their big day. The prize includes golfing, room stays, spa retreats, and much more!

Come visit our vendor booth during the show! We'll stock you up with information on how to have your dream wedding at our winery at the Lake of the Ozarks. Our vineyards are the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous outdoor wedding at Lake of the Ozarks! Our new gazebo is perfect for a more informal wedding, while our new covered pavilion is perfect for your rehearsal dinner or reception. The pavilion provides seating for 200 people and is electrified for use of cd players, IPod stations, or a live band.

When renting our outdoor pavilion you may choose your own caterer or let us cater your event, barbeque style. We offer a choice of brisket, pulled pork, bratwurst, ribs, chicken or hamburgers. All served with sides of potato salad and baked beans. The winery will also provide beer, wine, sangria and sodas of your choosing. Seven Springs Winery can even assist you with lodging for your guests , wedding party, and family members. And we have a complimentary shuttle service for you and your wedding party to and from your hotel. The shuttle seats 14 people and is available at a nominal charge for your guests.

Seven Springs Winery provides an event coordinator who works with you closely in order to ensure your needs are met. Our facility holds up to 300 people inside and another 125 outside in our patio area. At night, the patio area lights up providing a remarkable, intimate atmosphere. In addition, our executive chef prepares a distinctive and delicious banquet menu with items ranging from hors d’ oeuvres to gourmet styled meals.
