Upcoming Events at Seven Springs Winery

At Seven Springs Winery, we are already getting the calendar filled with exciting events! Summer may not be here yet, but that's not stopping us from getting out and enjoying the weather and a little wine. Mark your calendars, because we have a lot of exciting things happening, from the Silver cup Chef Challenge to the Murder Mystery Dinner Theater. Here's an overview of these fun events at the Lake of the Ozarks:

8th Annual Silver Cup Chef's Challenge - March 4th

This event is sponsored by Seven Springs Winery, Bed & Biscuit Pet Resort and Spa, and the proceeds benefit the Tri-County YMCA of the Ozarks. We would love for you to join us in our Lake of the Ozarks banquet hall on Saturday, March 4th to taste the best of the Midwest, Lake style! We will be featuring four amazing restaurants at the Lake of the Ozarks in our new one day format. The doors open at 11 am, and the cost is $45 per person. The first tasting begins at 2 pm and is only limited to 100 people. The judging will begin at 6 pm. Call 573-317-0100 to learn more.

4th Annual Rotary Beer Dinner - March 18th

This event is always a favorite, and we look forward to giving you more information soon! Don't forget to mark your calendars for March 18th so you won't miss it.

Comedy's Best Kept Secret Tour - March 24th

Come see what happens when three Nationally touring Comedians embark on a two-month road trip and perform on 50 shows in 50 days all to raise money for the Humane Society. Dan Frigolette @danfrigolette (Boardwalk Empire, Totally Biased, Artie Lange Show) Andrew Frank (Trial By Laughter) and a few special guests in each city are Comedy's Best Kept Secret -- amazingly talented comedians who haven't made it into the limelight...yet.

Proven comedians nationally and throughout the New York and Los Angeles comedy circuits, and now going coast to coast to keep Comedy's Best Kept Secret.

Spring Doe Camp - April 1

Get your girls together and join us for our FIRST Spring Doe Camp! This event is always a favorite in the fall, so we're offering it again in the spring as well. Are you a vendor? We are offering a package of three events just for you. Call the winery at 573-317-0100 for more information.

Tequila 1.5 - April 8th

Did you know that tequila can be used in the creation of faux diamonds? Unfortunately, you can't use them for your next piece of jewelry, but they can be used in the computer industry! If you want to learn all you've ever wanted to know about tequila, this event is for you! Join us on Saturday, April 8th for a really good time.

Murder Mystery Dinner Theater - April 22nd

There is more information coming soon, but we'll entertain you with hysterical comedy, spooky suspense, interactive dinner. We'll release more info as the time gets closer, but you won't want to miss this.

Tequila 2.0 - May 6th

If you didn't learn everything you needed to know about tequila the first time - come to Tequila 2.0! We'll have more information for you in the next coming weeks about this tasty event.

Wicked Wine Run - May 13th

Race through the vineyards and trails of the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks winery in Linn Creek, MO. The newly designed trials are through fields and woodland hills providing a challenging and remarkably surreal adventure in the heart of Missouri. Good stable trail running shoes are a standard as the course can be a challenging in some areas.The start time for the 5K Wicked Run begins at 5:00 pm and the 1K Wicked Tasting Walk begins at 6:30 pm. 5K runners must complete the course in 1 hour. Runners who participate in BOTH the 5K Fun Run and the 1K Walk must make the start time of the 1K. No exceptions. Waves of runners will be released on the course with 5-minute intervals in between waves.

The Wicked Wine Run is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 with 5K starting at 5 pm and 1K at 6:30 pm. Entertainment with a DJ will fill the afternoon and the races will be followed by a live band. Tickets can be purchased at http://wickedwinerun.com/locations/missouri-lakeoftheozarks/m.

Blues, Bays and BBQ this Weekend!

Join us for a full day of competition and fun for the whole family! Our Lake of the Ozarks winery opens at 11 AM and the festivities begin at Noon. For just $10 you can participate in all the fun while helping out a wonderful local charity. Here's what you can expect this Saturday, September 27, at Seven Springs Winery during our Blues, Bays and BBQ event!

Kicking off the event is our Blues Competition! The bands will start at 1 PM. The battle of the bands will feature:

Come prepared to taste some delicious BBQ and then vote for your favorite! BBQ starts serving at 2 PM with the judging to take place at 4 PM. The Amateur BBQ Competition features the following categories:

Come See Us at the Midwest Wine and Brew Festival this Weekend!

Join Seven Springs Winery this Saturday, August 9th for the Midwest Wine and Brew Festival! The event is being held at the Country Club Hotel & Spa in Lake Ozark from 2 to 5 PM. Fireworks at Seven Springs Winery!

If you can't make it to the Lake of the Ozarks for 4th of July weekend, no worries! We have a BIG Fireworks display scheduled at our Lake of the Ozarks winery for July 12! Have a Fun-Filled Memorial Day Weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks!

What better place to celebrate Memorial Day Weekend than the Lake of the Ozarks? You've got the Lake, shopping, dining and the some of the best wineries in Missouri! In addition to all the community activities you can participate in, Seven Springs Winery will be hopping with live music all afternoon Saturday and Sunday! Memorial Day Weekend at Seven Springs Winery

A Lake favorite, Sax on the Beach will be jamming out Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm to 6 pm. If you haven't heard them play, you are missing out! Our new menu will also be available for this holiday weekend, so come by and check out the new food. Our menu also features a wine pairing guide so you can form the perfect taste! We will be open until 10 pm so come out and party with us at Seven Springs Winery!

Bar Hop Cruise Memorial Day Weekend

Cruise around the Lake to some of the best waterfront bars and restaurants featuring great entertainment for the holiday weekend. The cruise will depart from H. Toads at Camden on the Lake at 1:00 PM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday is the Midcoast Bike Run!

Seven Springs Winery is all about events at the Lake of the Ozarks! We want to make sure you have all the details on the Midcoast Bike Run this weekend! Since 2005, the Noble Eagles host the event nicknamed the "Start of the Bike Season" by Biking Life Magazine. Around 500 bikes converge for music, food and drinks each year. Plus the beautiful "Regal Eagle" girls will be there to help entertain the crowd. Not only are the bikes, music, and sights awesome, but all the proceeds are used to fund collegiate scholarships for local youth. Check out this year's events calendar below:

Get Your Margarita Glasses Ready for Seven Springs' Tequila 101 Class!

It's time for school...a little Adult Education on the Taste Buds!

Seven Springs Winery will be having a "Get to know your tequila" party! This horizontal tasting (no, you will be standing upright at the end) will feature education on the fascinating way in which tequila is made. Yes, there is work in this class, you will have to taste tequila, drink a margarita and eat gourmet Mexican Food! So bring a friend to help you get through all the hard work!

Some questions we plan to answer during the class:

What is Tequila?
What does the word Tequila mean?
How did Tequila originate?
What is the Blue Agave?
How are agaves grown?
How is Tequila manufactured?
What are the different types of Tequila?
What is the Best Tequila?
What is a Top Shelf Margarita?
What is a NOM number and what does it mean?

Throughout the class, you will get to taste different tequilas including blancos, resparados, anejo, and extra anejo. Come to the Lake of the Ozarks for the 2014 Magic Dragon Street Meet!

The Lake of the Ozarks has something for everyone! Whether its visiting a local winery at the Lake of the Ozarks, checking out all the shopping places or cruising out on the water, you will always find something fun to do here! This weekend its the Annual Magic Dragon Street Meet Nationals on the Bagnell Dam Strip!

Why is it called the "Magic Dragon" Street Meet you may ask? Some people say that the Lake of the Ozarks, which is over 90 miles long, looks like a big dragon from the air as it winds through the central Missouri hills. Several years ago, it became known as “The Land of the Magic Dragon”. At the very first show in 1987, they used the name “Magic Dragon” and it has stuck to this very day. Camdenton Rotary Beer Dinner at Seven Springs Winery!

Join us for a Delicious 5 Course Meal!

Mother's Brewing Company of Springfield and Seven Springs Winery present the Camdenton Rotary Beer Dinner this weekend! Join us at the best winery at the Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday, March 22nd for a spectacular event. The doors open at 5:30 pm and dinner will be served at 6 pm. Check out the delicious menu we have planned:

Who will be named BEST CHEF at the Lake?

Finals of the Silver Cup Chef's Challenge this Weekend!

The preliminary rounds of the Silver Cups Chef's Challenge have come to a close. The final round is here! Congratulations to Camden on the Lake, Fired Up! Bar-B-Que, Jake Culpeeper's and Ruthie D.'s for making it this far.

These four finalists will be competing for the title of Best Chef at the Lake! Join us at Seven Springs Winery as these chef's battle it out with our Surf & Turf challenge!

This final event will be held this Saturday, March 1st at our winery at Lake of the Ozarks. The doors open at 11 AM, with the first tasting at 2 PM followed by judging at 4 PM. Seating is limited, so if you haven't reserved your tickets yet, be sure to call 573-317-0100 today!

Tickets are $35 per person for this final round. Proceeds from the tickets go to benefit the Tri-County YMCA, so come out and support not only our local restaurants, but also the community. Join Us for the Lake Bridal Show this Weekend!

Sunday, February 23 from Noon to 3 PM

The Lake of the Ozarks Bridal Show 2014 is just a few short days away! This Sunday, vendors from all over the area, including Seven Springs Winery, will be set up to provide you with information to make your wedding planning a little less stressful. Join us at The Lodge of Four Seasons for a live fashion show, prizes and giveaways, a groom's cave and more! And one lucky couple will WIN a bachelor & bachelorette party package at the Lake prior to their big day. The prize includes golfing, room stays, spa retreats, and much more!

Come visit our vendor booth during the show! We'll stock you up with information on how to have your dream wedding at our winery at the Lake of the Ozarks. Our vineyards are the perfect backdrop for a gorgeous outdoor wedding at Lake of the Ozarks! Our new gazebo is perfect for a more informal wedding, while our new covered pavilion is perfect for your rehearsal dinner or reception. The pavilion provides seating for 200 people and is electrified for use of cd players, IPod stations, or a live band.

When renting our outdoor pavilion you may choose your own caterer or let us cater your event, barbeque style. We offer a choice of brisket, pulled pork, bratwurst, ribs, chicken or hamburgers. All served with sides of potato salad and baked beans. The winery will also provide beer, wine, sangria and sodas of your choosing. Seven Springs Winery can even assist you with lodging for your guests , wedding party, and family members. And we have a complimentary shuttle service for you and your wedding party to and from your hotel. The shuttle seats 14 people and is available at a nominal charge for your guests.

Seven Springs Winery provides an event coordinator who works with you closely in order to ensure your needs are met. Our facility holds up to 300 people inside and another 125 outside in our patio area. At night, the patio area lights up providing a remarkable, intimate atmosphere. The Silver Cup Chefs Challenge is well underway!

So far, a total of 8 talented restaurants have competed for a chance to claim BEST chef at the Lake. We have had some amazing Chicken and Pork entrees from our local competitors and can't wait to see what the next round brings! If you missed it, be sure to get your tickets for Round 3 and the Finals now! Proceeds go to benefit the Tri-County YMCA; so come and support your community, while enjoying some tasty meals at your Winery at the Lake of the Ozarks! Join us at Seven Springs Winery for Round 3 on February 22nd! This round's theme is Beef - Taste of Texas. The 4 restaurants competing for a chance at the Finals are Camden on the Lake, Jake Culpeeper's, JB Hooks and Malarkey's Pub & Grill.
