4th Annual Rotary Beer Pairing Dinner

Our winery at the Lake of the Ozarks is most known for it's amazing Missouri wine - but we also feature several other beverages as well. From Missouri wines, sangrias, and a few micro-brews, you can find many delicious beverages at our Lake of the Ozarks winery.

We're going to be changing it up a bit, though, and bringing the Springfield Brewing Company out to support the Rotary Youth Exchange through the 4th Annual Rotary Beer Pairing Dinner. We have five courses planned for you all with amazing beers to complement your meal. Join us on March 18th at 5:00 PM in our new reception hall at the Lake of the Ozarks. About the Beers

The Springfield Brewing Company features many unique beers, and have stuck true to tradition with ales & lagers. They've been winning awards since 1997 with their fresh flavor and fun names. Do you want to learn more about their beer and the story behind each one? Visit their website at www.SpringfieldBrewingCo.com. They only feature certain beers during certain times of the year - but we have some special flavors planned for you at the Rotary Beer Pairing Dinner!

Greene Ghost

Greene Ghost IPA starts off with hops in the nose, then with a nice smack of hops on the kisser, followed by a lingering hoppy wonderfulness! And the right blend of malts, mashing profile, fermentation control, and craft keeps Greene Ghost in balance.

Double Track Doppelbock

Double Track has rich, bread-like malt flavors, from a luscious blend of the best German Munich malts, it is served mit naturtrüb, or “with natural cloud”, not only does this contribute to its rich palate, but it also makes the bottles good for aging and cellaring.

Katydid Kolsch

Our Katydid Kölsch has a spicy and hoppy nose, dry palate, and wonderful grain notes from the pilsner malt used in the mash. The flavor balance is pushed in the direction of hop bitterness and the result is a great beer to celebrate all things spring!

Hop Lobster IPA

Hop Lobster has two sides to its flavor profile. On one hand, it’s a terrific, hoppy ale; lots of citrus aroma from the Centennial and Cascade hops and plenty of hop bitterness from the Perle hops used in the first hop addition. On the other hand, this is a luscious, malty brew with lots of palate filling flavors from the crystal malts used in the blend.

Arrghy Night + Blood Orange

Orange zest, rum, molasses, vanilla, and oak aromas layered on top of a big, roasty strong stout
